Thanks to the generosity of local business leaders, as well as the leadership of County Commissioner Doug Gilpin and SYC Director Della Boushley, a new playground recently opened in Bushnell. A tour of the Bushnell Youth Center by Gilpin last year identified the need for new playground equipment. Gilpin reached out to the local business community and raised $40,000, which paid for the playground. Boushley and the other SYC board members happily reported that the children love the new equipment.
